An Italian wood console table, approximately 7.75 feet in length, from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy has a long, rectangular-shaped top, which slightly overhangs the apron below (which is clean and linear), and is presented upon four thickly squared legs with profiled accents and knees, and gently tapering towards their feet. The wood has a beautifully rustic appearance with fabulous old patina throughout. And is complimented with a custom blue/grey wash about the trim at tope edge and carved knees. Floor clearance between skirt and floor measures 25.75 inches in height. This 18th century Italian table has a lovely bucolic charm to it and would function well as a console or large sofa table.
