French Antique Console with Greek Key Motif

A French Neoclassical style painted wood console table, with marble top and Greek key motif, from the late 19th century. This antique table from France has been designed in neo-classical style, and features its original rectangular-shaped white marble top, above the apron which houses a full sized drawer along its front side (with hand-painted leaf and shell motif), with a clean/linear skirt which is held up by a pair of round column carved front posts. There is a lower shelf or platform base between the front posts and back legs (just above the feet) that is adorn with a hand-painted Greek Key motif along the front and short sides. The painted finish (which is older but not original) is primarily a blue with hint of aqua, with black colored front columns and the original brass accents and knob pulls. This French Neoclassic style table, circa 1880's, will make a lovely console with great storage and display options; perhaps useful within an entry hall, living area, or dining room.
