An Italian carved walnut console table, with subtle bow front and single drawer, from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique table from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top which has a slightly bow-shaped front which overhangs and carries through to the deeply set apron below, that houses a single full-sized drawer set across its front side. The raised panel drawer is fitted with a pair of decorative pull hardware and a single keyhole escutcheon at center. The table is presented upon four squared legs with inwardly cut and profiled knees, that taper gently and terminate into petite peg style feet. The medium tone walnut has a lovely patina throughout; a beautiful reflection of its centuries old history and use. Please note that the top has some warping, which can be seen in more detail in the additional images. This late 18th century Italian walnut console table is just shy of 4 feet in length, and offers great storage and display potential, perfect for an entry foyer, living, or dining room.
