18th C. Spanish Wood Console w/Pair Drawers

A Spanish wooden occasional table with drawers from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain features a rectangular-shaped top which overhangs a deep-set apron that houses a pair of half-sized drawers. The table is raised upon a pair of sawhorse style trestle legs, which are braced with a wooden H-stretcher just above the feet. The lines are clean and linear, with drawers being fit with simple knob pulls. The wood has a wonderful richness and warmth to it with an old patina and worn areas; a reflection of its history of prior use and age. This 18th century Spanish table, with its two drawers for storage, will make a fabulous entry console or living room occasional table for your home.
