English Jacobean Style Carved Sideboard

An exquisite English console table with barely twist legs from the 19th century. This antique table from England has been designed with Jacobean influences, has a rectangular-shaped top over a case which houses three raised-panel drawers, set horizontally along the front, designed in a cross and spindle motif, and fitted with beautifully dangling brass pulls. The underside of the apron, is embellished with a carved skirt at front and sides, in a succession of scrolls and florals. This piece is presented upon six barley-twist legs, braced just above their bulb style feet with a wood-beam box stretcher. The bleached wood has a pale wash atop (which still allows the wood grain to show through) and white trim accents. This 19th century English Jacobean style console chest, with its 7 foot long span, will make a superb storage and display addition to your home- perfect as a sideboard for a dining or living room!
