A French carved-wood console table with drawer and marble top. This vintage table from France has a rectangular-shaped top with recessed marble framed within a lamb's tongue carved edging. The apron, which is magnificently carved in a floral entwining and repeating wreath pattern about all sides and floral carvings at each corner, houses a long drawer hidden discretely within the apron along one long side. The table is presented upon four round tapering legs, with floral-carved and profiled knees above the fluted accents below with carved chandelles embellishments. The unusual marble is striking with its rippling effect and shades of green. The table has been custom finished, stripped down to the natural wood and complimented with a creamy taupe accent trim. This French nicely-carved table with marble top, is just shy of 3.5 feet in length, making it a perfect smaller sized console option with the ability to be floated within a room.
