Swedish Pair Demi-Lune Tables, Early 20th C

A Swedish pair of wooden demi-lune tables from the early 20th century. These antique consoles from Sweden each feature a semi-circular or half-moon shaped top, which is raised upon three straight and squared legs, giving these tables a very clean and minimalist design aesthetic. A T-shaped stretcher bar adds support to the legs just above the ankles. The tables have a scraped finish and a wash of taupe coloring, with areas of wood showing through, and a lovely patina. This pair of early 20th century Swedish demi-lune tables will make perfect consoles, or can be joined together to create a center table (see additional images).
