Swedish Antique Demi-Lunes, Or Center Table

A Swedish pair of carved and painted wood demi-lune tables from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. These antique tables from Sweden each feature half moon shaped tops over rounded aprons, and are raised upon three beautifully turned legs. The scraped finish (which allows much of the wood grain to show through) is complimented with a wash of grey, and darker charcoal accents along the top edge and parts of the legs. These late 19th century Swedish tables will not only work well as console tables against a wall, but they can be connected together along their backsides, allowing them to function together as a lovely center table.
