French Neoclassical Marble Top Demi-Lune

A French Neoclassical style carved wood console table, with marble top, from the early 20th century. This antique table from France has an oblong demi-lune shape that is flat along the backside (so that it can rest comfortably against the wall). The marble top rests upon a curved and flute-carved apron which is adorn with a garland swag featured prominently at front/center, and accents of flower heads atop each knee. This piece is raised upon four squared and flute-carved legs, which gently taper towards their spaded feet, and have carved-flowers wrapping their ankles. The wood has a bleached finish with custom grey/blue trim highlighting various trimming, which compliments the marble top beautifully. This early 20th century French Neoclassical style carved demi console is sure to be an eye-catching addition to any home, perhaps used in a entryway or other living area.
