Petite Italian Ornately-Carved Wall Console

A small-sized Italian Neoclassic style elaborately-carved wood console table, with marble top, from the early 20th century. This antique table from Italy features a half-moon/demi-shaped marble top, which rests atop an apron which has been decoratively-carved and outlined, flower heads at each front corner, and framed within a petite bead trim. A carved floral garland further embellishes this piece along the front skirt. The table is presented upon a pair of elongated scroll-carved legs, with acanthus leaf accents, and are braced above their ankles with a fluted, curved stretcher with a Neoclassical three-dimensional floral bouquet positioned atop the middle/center. The green marble top is sweetly contrasts the stripped/natural wood finish.
