French Console w/Carved Trim & Gold Accents

A French carved-wood console table from the mid 20th century. This vintage table from France has been designed with lovely Neoclassic touches throughout and has a rectangular-shaped top with beautiful trimming about the perimeter and each corner emphasized with rounded projections. The apron is adorn in a decorative, repeating trim, framed flower heads are carved atop each leg on rounded side posts, and the skirting is clean and linear. The table is presented upon four rounded, tapering legs with swagged carvings about their top perimeter and ankles wrapped in leave carvings just above their petite bun feet. The legs are each supported by a semi-circular wooden brace, with curvy beam running along the underside of the table with petite volutes at either end and nicely trimmed details. The wood has a custom wash of grey/taupe with gold accents highlighting the various embellishments. This mid-century French console table, with Neoclassical inspired carvings, is just shy of 5 feet in width.
