Italian Carved Console Table, Early 20th C.

An Italian wood-carved console table, with new custom painted finish, from the early 20th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top which rests upon the decoratively paneled apron, carved with a beautiful repeating leaf trim outlining the top edge, and framed rosettes at each corner. The table is raised upon four tapering squared legs, which are outlined in panels down to their more cleanly designed rectangular ankles and feet. There is a custom taupe finish with areas of grey and gold accents. Clearance between the skirt and floor measures approximately 28 inches. This early 20th century Italian table, just over 4 feet in width, is un-adorn at its backside, therefore best use would be placed as a console against a wall.
