19th C. French Grape Grinder Table Lamps
A near-pair of table lamps with 19th century French wine grinding posts and lucite bases. This pair of table lamps have been custom fashioned from a cut section of a 19th century wooden grinding post from France, now acting as their column bodies, topped with a rounded piece of lucite and raised on a circular-shaped lucite base. The natural wood grinding post, once used during the production of wine-making, feature beautiful vertical ridges about their perimeter, nicely-weathered surface, imperfections and patina showing it's rich history of use and age. This pair of custom French wooden grape grinding table lamps would look beautiful flanking the far sides of a console table, or set at either end of a living room sofa. Should you desire a single or additional lamp, we currently have one single available (it's is slightly smaller), which is priced and sold separately.
