Italian horizontal carved wood mirror from the late 18th, early 19th century. The apparent simplicity of this rectangular mirror is balanced by the delicate carved and painted characters flanking the frame. These figure seem to be hiding behind carved volutes. The mirror offers a very nice patina and aging throughout the gilded wooden frame. New replaced glass.
