A Pair of Eternite Rectangular Planters
A pair of eternite planters attributed to Willy Guhl, mid 20th century. This pair of rectangular-shaped planters are a nearly perfect pair, only noticeable difference being that one has more squared rim corners while the other is more rounded. The primary color is a stone white with a wonderful patina from use and age throughout and lots of little mossy bits as well. These planters are attributed to Swiss neo-functionalist designer Willy Guhl (1915-2004) for Eternit during the 1950's, Switzerland. The planters are constructed of eternite (a durable and light-weight fiber cement), which makes it weather-resistant should you choose to place it outdoors in any climate. This pair of good-sized rectangular planters are perfect for your patio or garden, and would be especially lovely flanking a patio or garden entrance.
