19th C. Carved Stone Sink w/ Drainboard

A European large stone sink with side drainboard from the 19th century. This antique sink from Europe has an overall rectangular shape and has been hand-carved from a single piece of stone. One side of the sink has a drainboard, which tilts into the deeper basin next to it. The coloring is primarily neutral tones of cream and alabaster, with some beige and nice patina. The texture of this sink is wonderfully rustic and hand carved lines fill the drainboard surface. Please note this piece is quite heavy, weighing several hundred pounds. This 19th century European piece, in addition to its obvious use as a sink, would make a nice fountain base or planter.
