Pair 19th C. Swedish Diamond Pattern Doors
A pair of Swedish doors with geometric patterns and original paint from the 19th century. This pair of antique doors from Sweden feature a repeating diamond pattern, comprised of a smaller diamond being made up where doors join when closed, at center, and repeated in outward fashion towards their tops and bottom. The doors retain their original hardware and a fabulous, large-sized iron key. The front of the doors are their original color, Swedish falun red, which has been weathered and has a great patina from wear and use. The backside of the doors are plain with an old creamy/white paint. These 19th century Swedish doors would make a wonderful entrance to a pantry, architectural interest to a wall, or perhaps added to a custom cabinet. Please consult with your contractor or architect to discuss the necessary measurements and hardware to make these doors work for your project.
