Toraja Tribe Granary Facade, 19th C.
A 19th century Toraja wooden granary panel from from Sulawesi Island in the Indonesian archipelago. This antique granary facade with window from the Toraja peoples of Sulawesi, Indonesia has been carved of uru wood and meticulously hand-painted in tribal symbols (which now has a wonderful old patina and show of it's rich history and age). This fantastic architectural piece is approximately 5.75 feet in width and over 3 feet in height, but with it's shallow depth of only 4", opens up the potential of upcycled new use as a wonderful decorative piece of tribal art from Salawesi which could be hung or mounted on a wall.
