An Italian carved-wood hanging wall plaque from the early 19th century. This antique wall decoration from Italy is round in shape and features a hand-carving depiction of a putto hanging onto lovingly, as if riding, atop a water fowl. Waving water and foliage further embellish the scenery of this plaque. This piece retains it's original finish, though there may be a few areas of minor touch up done in the past.
