Large Abstract Copper Wall Art Sculpture
This whimsical piece is an abstract wall sculpture of copper, by American artist James Welty of Charlottesville, Virginia, circa 1987. This vintage sculpture, with it's Brutalist influenced design, has been created of copper and is meant to hang as an art-installation on a wall. It bears artists signature and date at backside, along with the name of piece "Rose Mastedon in Nightsoil". The copper has a nicely aged and warm patina. A great playful, yet contemplative piece of art, which will add great texture and projection from your wall with it's nicely-sized and approximate 3.5 ft. width, 15" depth, and 5.5 ft. height.
