A pair of early 20th century French lion statues. This antique pair of cast-stone lions from France are each shown in laying position with heads up and alert, looking toward their side. This pair of lions have gorgeous, full manes of hair and upturned tails along their backside. They are raised upon rectangular shaped bases. They retain much of their old white finish, have a wonderful aged patina, and mossy bits cling about their bodies. This pair of French early 20th century lions are just over 2 feet in length each, and will make wonderful decorative objects which can be used both indoors or out.
