A French hand-painted folding screen or room divider from the 19th Century. This antique folding screen from France has 6 panels, each with hand-painted canvas stretched over wood frames, each decorated in an outdoor motif with various male and female figures. The backside of the screen remains un-adorn. As to be expected with an item of this age, there are some blemishes/wear. Please refer to the photos for more details. This 19th century French screen with hand-painted canvas, would be a beautiful room divider, dressing screen, or perhaps used to add visual interest and fill a corner space within a larger room.
