French Faux-Marble Painted Column Pedestal

A French faux-marble painted wood column from the mid 20th century. This vintage pedestal from France has a round-shaped column body, with a squared top. Circular banding/molding is found just beneath the top and repeated at bottom, where it is raised upon square-shaped base. The top is smooth and flat. This piece has been masterfully painted with a faux-marble in a palate of olive green, khaki, and dijon colors. This French column, standing just over 3.5 feet in height, would make a lovely decorative display stand for a floral vase, sculpture/art, or plant.
