Italian Slender Neoclassic Mirrors, 19th C.
An Italian pair of Neoclassical wall mirrors from the 19th century. These antique mirrors from Italy feature Pots à Feu (Fire Urn) at their crest peaks with swagged garland draping downward to their shoulders adorn with raised finials. The mirrors are rectangular-shaped, with garland accents along the sides, and underside of mirror embellished with fluted feet and floral wreaths at center. Note that there are some slight variations at the underside of the mirror at center carvings. This pair of 19th century Italian Neoclassical mirrors are wonderfully "skinny" with a width just over 1 foot, and just over 3.5 feet in height- making them great problem solvers for those more narrow spaces in need of beautification!
