Collection of Three Framed 1920's Swimwear
A set of three framed bathing suits from the 1920's. This collection of antique swimwear is comprised of two female swimsuits and a male suit which are beautifully displayed within sleek and contemporary black .75" metal frames with an antique white colored matting at background (which provides excellent contrast). The framed ladies swimsuit at left is primarily black with a green and orange faux collar. The men's suit at middle, also in black, has a tag which reads "The Piqua Hosiery Co." from Piqua, OH. The Piqua Hosiery Co. opened in 1886 for men's bathing suits. The second ladies swimsuit, in right side frame, is primarily black with coral and gray arrow designs. All three bathing suits appear to be made of wool and are in excellent condition. Please note that the measurements for the frames all vary slightly: widths are between 19.75 and 20.75" and heights are 37.75"(Left), 34"(Middle), and 36"(Right). This Collection of three framed bathing suits from the 1920's would be a great addition to a home for a vintage clothing aficionado! Offering a touch of summer nostalgia--they'd also be perfect for a pool or beach house, or perhaps in a coastal-themed bathroom!
