Spanish 19th C. Carved-Stone Water Trough

A Spanish hand-carved trough basin from the 19th century. This antique stone vessel from Spain has an oval-shaped basin with rounded front and flat backside, giving it an overall "D"-shaped appearance. The basin has softly rounded corners, a drainage hole at it's lower backside (which may need to be altered or widened, depending on it's intended use) and two holes at top should you choose to mount it to a wall. There is a wonderful old patina throughout with beautiful mossy bits! This 19th century Spanish vessel could be a decorative indoor object, or used outdoors as a planter, trough, or fountain basin.
