French Tall Mirror w/Column Accents, 19th C

A tall French mirror with architectural accents from the late 19th century. This antique mirror from France has a rectangular-shaped mirror at center, framed within an outer surround which is flanked at both sides with column style posts that have typical Roman Ionic carvings at their tops. The inner mirror and columns rest upon a thicker stacked base, giving this piece a grounded presence. The scraped finish shows the natural wood graining (with some small bits of old aqua color in various areas), and there is a pale gold trim about various accents. This late 19th century French mirror is a good sized piece standing just shy of 5.5 feet in height, and just over 3 feet in width.
