Large Guatemalan Tamalero Pot w/Handles
A larger-sized Guatemalan clay pot with beautiful glazed finish. This vintage cooking vessel has been made of clay, has a rounded-shape with flattened bottom and recessed top hole with rounded lip. The pot has three handles about its perimeter. This pot is perfectly-imperfect, with a nice texture, some minor chipping to the handles, and areas of old black patina from cooking over a fire; a lovely show of history of prior use/age. This Guatemala ceramic tamalero (a tamale steaming pot) stands over 2 feet in height and approximately 2.4 feet in diameter; making for a good-sized decorative item perfect for a kitchen or dining accent!
