Papua New Guinea Splash Boards

These decorative painted red and dark grey or black carved wood splash boards on stands from Papua, New Guinea are from the Milne Bay region, Iwa & Gawa Islands. These boards are typically used in the front of a canoe to protect from splashing. They are nicely aged, with good front and back detail on custom metal stands. They will work beautifully as a pair but we will be happy to sell them separately.
