18th C. Italian Gilded Bracket

An Italian 18th century gilded bracket. This large size Italian rococo style bracket features an abundance of decor associated to a very curvy silhouette. The richly carved and gilded bracket. The top of the bracket is nicely delimited on the sides by a succession of concave and angled molding. The center of the piece is marked by a rococo style motif, which seems to be hanging from the molding. Except the part made to be attached to the wall, every section of this piece seems to have received a decor. This giltwood Italian 18th century bracket would be wonderful mounted on a wall in a dining room or perhaps foyer, with a decorative object atop.
