Antique Neoclassic Style Armchairs, Italy

An Italian pair of Neoclassical style armchairs from the early 20th century. This antique pair of accent chairs from Italy are each carved with neoclassic stylings with clean/linear arms topped with acanthus leaves carved next to the back rest and petite flower heads adorning the corners of the knuckles and seat rail atop the legs. The square-shaped backs and seats are upholstered. The chairs are raised upon rounded, flute-carved legs at front, with back legs (also flute-carved) being more square, with an outward sabre. The chairs retain their original finish, with a lovely old patina. Note the the fabric has some staining and is sun-bleached, so time for a refresher to make these chairs your own. These early 20th century Italian neoclassical style armchairs will make a wonderful pair of accent chairs, or a small conversational group.
