Italian Antique Chandelier in Red & Gold

An Italian painted wood chandelier with metal arms, from the early 20th century. This antique chandelier from Italy features a wood central column with beaded, fluted, and acanthus-carved details, which has five fluid s-shaped swooping arms lifting up and out from its center gallery. Each metal arm is embellished with a beautiful floral motif and have metal bobèche cups with cut scrolled accents, that hold a candle sleeve at center. Colors are primarily red and gold, with a nicely age patina throughout. Please note that this light fixture is not wired. This early 20th century Italian chandelier is just shy of 3.5 feet in diameter.
