An American bow-front carved wood chest of five drawers from the early 20th century. This antique crotch mahogany wood veneered chest has a beautiful and subtly bowed front, flanked within a pair of round fluted side posts adorn with acanthus leaf wraps at bottom and flower-head accents at their top. The case houses five dovetailed drawers; three smaller drawers set horizontally above two full sized drawers. This piece is presented upon four blunt arrow carved feet. Please note that there are some old stains and some cracks in the veneers, though nothing which we feel compromises the integrity of this piece. This early 20th century, nice-sized American bow front chest with column accents, would be a handsome addition to a bedroom, living room, or perhaps an entry foyer.
