An Italian raised two-drawer painted wood side chest from the 19th century. This antique petite sized chest from Italy is comprised of clean/straight lines, which has been nicely complimented with beautiful hand-painted foliate of wispy leaves and bow-tied garlands. The case houses a pair of drawers fitted with simple knob pulls, and is presented upon four gently tapering squared legs. The painted finish is not original, but is quite old. This 19th century Italian chest, with whimsical hand-painted finish, makes it quite unique and charming! Perfect for a side chest, end table, or nightstand.
