Dove & Chimeara 1/4 Stater Pendant

A Dove & Chimaera AR quarter "stater" [coin] pendant trimmed with 22 karat gold. This AR quarter stater was minted in Sikyon, Peloponnesos, circa 360-330 BC. Sikyon was one of the first cities in ancient Peloponnese to issue coinage in the beginning of the 5th century BC. The reverse of this coin features the image of a flying Dove - on the obverse side, a Chimaera facing left. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
