A Byzantine Bronze Cross in Gold Setting
A bronze cross from the Byzantine Era set in a spectacular 21K setting. This bronze cross was likely created by lost wax casting and any further decorations are hand chiseled. The Byzantine Era ran from the 300s to the fall of Constantinople and the Eastern Roman Empire in the 1450's, at which time, the area fell to the Ottoman Empire.
