A Bronze Cross from the Byzantine era with accents and bale in 21 karat gold. This bronze cross was originally created by lost wax casting. The Byzantine Era ran from the 300s to the fall of Constantinople and the Eastern Roman Empire in the 1450's, at which time, the area fell to the Ottoman Empire. The vast area of Byzantium spanned from the Mediterranean coast of Italy to Eurasia. This is an artisan made custom piece with precious metal and an ancient artifact. Unique and one of a kind!
