Kingdom of Commagene, A Coin

A coin from the reign of Mithridates III from the ancient kingdom of Commagene, circa 20-12 BC. It is 5 grams of bronze trimmed in 18 karat gold. Commagene was a small mountain kingdom located in what was Asia Minor, in Eastern Anatolia, as a cushion state between the Roman Empire, Armenia and Parthia. On the obverse coin side is a crab, on the reverse side, "BA ME / M TOY / M." This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
