An AR Tetradrachm coin pendant with the face of Heracles trimmed in 18 karat gold. This AR Tetradrachm, (16.59g., 27.09mm) is dated between 312-281 BC. This coin is from the Seleukid Kingdom of Babylon I. On the obverse side of the coin is the head of Heracles facing right, wearing a lion skin. On the reverse side, AΛEΞANΔPOY / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ with Zeus seated left facing on throne, holding an eagle and scepter. This coin is in the name and type of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon.
