AR Drachm Helios Pendant w/ 18K gold

An AR Drachm [coin] Silver minted at Caria, Rhodes, Circa 205-190 BC, under the Magistrate Teisylos. There is simple and elegant 18 karat gold trim and bail around the coin. On the obverse side, is the 3/4 profile of Helios. On the reverse side, "TEIΣYΛOΣ" with a lovely Rose and a serpent to the left. The condition of this coin is Very Fine (VF); it weighs 2.55 grams, and has a diameter of 15.60 mm. Although we have professional photographs of this coin - the photos truly do not give the fine details of this Helios profile justice! This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
