A Silver Drachm Gorgon Pendant w 18K
A Drachm Silver coin pendant trimmed with 18 karat gold. This "Very Fine" coin is 14 mm wide and weighs 3.10 g without the gold trim. On the obverse side is an Upright anchor; A to left, with a crayfish to right. On the Reverse side, is a front facing Gorgoneion with a wide mouth and sticking tongue straight out. This coin was minted at Thrace, Apollonia Pontica, circa 480-450 BC. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage.
