AR Hemidrachm (coin) Pendant from 4th C BC
A Gorgoneion AR Hemidrachm (coin) minted at Mysia, Parion, circa 4th century BC. On the obverse side of this coin is a front facing gorgon within an incused circle. The back of this coin pendant is enclosed in sterling silver, and there is a wonderful decorative trim with 18 karat gold with bail. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
