Byzantine [coin] Pendant w/ 18K Gold Trim from Byzantine era. The Byzantine Era ran from the 300s to the fall of Constantinople and the Eastern Roman Empire in the 1450's, at which time, the area fell to the Ottoman Empire. The vast area of Byzantium spanned from the Mediterranean coast of Italy to Eurasia. This coin is soft to the touch, and together with the setting is extremely light. There is a touch of whimsy as the coin can be flipped! This oxblood bronze coin pendant was artisan crafted. Truly unique and one of kind!
