Yale Burge Spindle-Back Bench w/Black Seat

A vintage wooden bench with upholstered seat from US furniture maker and interior designer, Yale R. Burge. This well-constructed, American-made bench has a cleanly-designed top rail with an upper back rest framed with spindle carved back-splats. The lower backside is open and and the sides are open, without arms. The bench seat is upholstered in black fabric, and framed within a straight seat rail/apron. The bench is raised on four sabre legs. This Yale Burge wooden bench, approximately 6.5 feet in width, would be a great seating addition to an entry foyer or large hall.
