Swedish Pair Stools w/Upholstered Seats

A Swedish pair of painted wood stools with upholstered seats from the mid 20th century. These vintage stools from Sweden feature squared upholstered seats which sit without an apron that has linear molding, accented with a petite bead accent trim, and rosettes carved at each corner above the knees. The seats are raised on rounded legs carved with twist-rope accent trim near their tops, fluting with chandelles within their centers, that gently taper towards their feet feet. The plaid upholstery on the seats is in good/usable condition, and is outlined with nail-head trim above the seat rail. The wood has a white painted finish. This mid-century pair of upholstered Swedish stools would be a wonderful addition to a living area for extra seating; perhaps neatly tucked up beneath a console or sofa table.
