Italian Carved & Painted Demi-Lune Table

An Italian half-round console table with nicely carved details from the mid 20th century. This vintage demi-lune table from Italy features a halved-moon shaped top, with thick apron beneath which has been carved in an overlaying circular motif, accented just above the legs with a single carved flower head. The table has a half-round and fluted column at backside (which would rest up against a wall), and two shapely and fluted legs flanking the front side with acanthus carved knees and are braced together with a bent wood stretcher. Color palette consists of light green, taupe, and off white hues with a mushroom taupe accent.
