Swedish Neoclassical Demi-to-Round Table

A Swedish Neoclassical style demi-lune table, which converts to a round table, circa 1820's. This antique table from Sweden features a half moon top over a smooth/rounded apron, and is raised upon squared legs, that gently taper towards their feet. Beautiful curly-birch wood adorns the apron and legs. This demi-lune table has a flip-top allowing it to extend into a circular shape. The rear leg then pulls outward as a gate leg for support. The table is approximately 3 feet in diameter when fully open. This early 19th century Swedish Neoclassical style table, would work well as an accent piece in a foyer or living room, while offering an impromptu option for additional dining or card games.
