French Console Table w/Greek Key Accents

A French console table with painted Greek Key motif. This vintage table from France features a rectangular-shaped top which slightly overhangs the apron below which has been nicely decorated with a hand-painted Greek Key motif across its front and each shorter end side. The table is presented on a pair of fluted column style carved legs at either front end, with carved legs at back, and raised on rail style feet. A straight beam stretch adds support between the rail legs along the back underside of the table. The table has a palette of charcoal (with subtle hint of navy), gray, and off white accents. The backside of the table remains un-adorn, so best placement would be against a wall or backside of sofa. This French painted wood console is approximately 5.75 feet in length, but has a wonderfully bold and masculine presence with the hand-painted touches and nicely carved legs raised on rail feet.
