English Regency Period Carved-Wood Console

An English Regency carved and bleached wood console table, with new marble top, from the early 19th century. This antique table from England has a new/custom rectangular-shaped marble top with beveled edging, which sits upon a cleanly designed apron with linear molding. The table is raised upon a pair of elegantly carved front legs, with thickly curled volutes at top, and a shapely design which terminates into smaller volutes upon block style feet. The two legs at rear-side are beautifully turned with a subtle taper towards their feet. The pine wood has a custom bleached finish, with a hint of faint taupe about some of the trim. This Regency era English table with marble top is quite nice in scale; with a width just longer of 5 feet, and a nice 37.5 inch height- would make for a fabulous entry table or statement piece for a living or dining room.
