French Stone/Wood Dining Table on Iron Base

A French wood and stone table with iron base from the mid 20th century. This mid-century table from France has an oval-shaped top wooden top with two sections of stone inlay, which is raised upon a forged-iron base with four c-scroll shaped legs that are supported about their mid-sections at underside of the table with an oval-shaped iron stretcher running between them. The wood is light and rustic in appearance, and contrasts nicely against the charcoal colored stone. This mid 20th century French table is just shy of 6 feet in length and would be great used as a breakfast table for a more casual or rustic setting, or perhaps as a dining or games table on a covered patio or sun room.
